Solved New Sources Found: NT 4.0 Service Pack 6/6a

Specs: Windows NT 4.0
Microsoft has long removed Service Pack 6 and 6a ("high encryption") from their webiste but today I finally found two sources:

Service Pack 6 ("standard")

Yeah, unfortunately Microsoft has made it very difficult to locate these.

I've scoured the FTP and SP4 and SP6 are nowhere to be found. You can also find all of the NT 3.x and 4.x service packs on my new page at

I should note that after further review Stanford University's FTP has all of the service packs except Service Pack 2:

It also appears the whole OS is available on their FTP, however you'd have to download each file one-by-one which would take a long time.

Looks like you and I are the only ones that have all the packs. Many other websites have been taken down, bought out and deleted, etc. I'm finally starting to show up in the Google results.

I'm committed to permanently preserving this stuff on my site, even if I am now a Mac fan as well, LOL. While I enjoy using a Mac, I keep a GP6-400 XL PC system around too, and it's running NT4.
