Mixed network - NT Server, NT Workstation, 98, 2000, XP Home Edition. XPs see and are seen by other computers except NT Server. Recently installed a new router to share a DSL connection. Before doing so, XPs saw NT Server. Now they don't. They do see the NT Workstation. All settings on NT computers are the same. Netbios over TCP/IP is enabled; all computers are connected to the same switch, which is connected to the router. DHCP is enabled thru the router. What could be the problem? Is it a security problem? Network settings? Log on problem? Please help.

clearly it's ip related. Start with ping by address. Next ping by name. check wins/dns/ If something fails as you work up the chain you know where the issue is.
