Specs: Windows NT4

I have some problem after installing windows NT4. After the installation when i the log on window appears a box opens and says

"At least one service or driver failed during system startup. Use Event Viewer to examine the event log for details"

I think it is something to do with my network card, but i i don`t know how to solve it.

To find the name of the networkcard i tried to install win xp and then the card name appears in the device field. the name of the networkcard was "Intel PRO/100 VE Desktop adapter" but when i downloaded it and installed it on the win nt4 (The same computer as xp was installed in) the networkcard still not work=(.

You don't say whether you can log on. If so, which service does the event viewer tell you is failing. If not, what about Safe Mode. Lack of networking should not prevent you from logging on to a non-domain NT workstation. If all else fails, try removing or disabling your NIC.

Thankyou for reply=)

Yes i can log on but i can´t use the network part. The network part is integrated on the motherboard.

But i think a don´t have the exact driver for the networkpart. I will try to identify the name of the motherboard and then try to find the drivers to it on the internet.
