Comment:
I need a bootdisk to connect to my NT Server so I can reach my Ghostfile. I created a client installation disk in NT and edit the path to the Server and the ghost folder. When I boot the machine..it detects the card and initializes the network, and asks for loginname and password. Then I get "Error 53: The computer name specified in the network path cannot be located".
I tryed the bootdisk in an other network, same networkcard, changing the IP (TCP/IP protocol), severname and folder. But I get the same message.
I always use a net bootdisk working with Novell it must be a way to do it in a NT network.

You got to add IP address and wins name of your NTserver(PDC)in to the lmhost file in your boot floopy. Make sure there is no space before the IP address. Deleate all the bullshits inside the lmhost file and add your IP and wins name.
eg: 120.130.140.150 mypdc
(I not too sure the space bet IP and wins name. I knew that one "tab" will work.)
I think it will solve your problem. Other wise make sure your network car is working properly.
