Comment:

I bought a new computer and want to transfer my local Outlook files from my old one, but I have no clue what my password is, so I can't get in.
Is there a workaround? The laptop has no A: drive, but does have a CD-ROM drive. It also has 2 USB ports, but these have never worked (not been activated?).

I would appreciate any suggestion. Thanks for reading so far, hope I'll get it done soon...

yes, there is an easy workaround. get a copy of erd commander. it allows you to boot to a floppy and set your password to something you know.
