Hi all,
I have an NT Server, configured as a PDC in a production environment. The system partition ("C:\winnt") is beginning to run low on space (FAT format). The adjacent partition (D:\) has plenty of space (Formatted NTFS). Does anyone know of a trial utility that will allow me to resize the NTFS parition, and allocate it tto the system partition? I know Powerquest Server Magic will do the trick, but thats a little expensive for me right now. Does anyone know of a different utility, perhaps trialware, that will allow this?

The fact that you are willing to risk your PDC because you don't want to spend money is scarey.
I will make a suggestion though. If you are running out of space on your C drive, convert it to NTFS. That typically will save a lot of space. If it still not enough, compress it entirelly or just certain directories.
I wouldn't, even if I bought a program, resize the C partition of a live NT server.

serial for PQ magic. LOL that really helps.
Go get the Ranish Partition Manager at http://www.ranish.com . If will allow you to resize partitions. I would highly highly recommend that you backup your drive before trying it.
Hope this helps, -Michael
