Alright I have a .AVI movie that I downloaded and want to watch but when I click on it to play it all it does is come up with a blank screen without sound. I downloaded DivX and angelpotion along with some other codecs but without success. I know it's not the movie because I downloaded 10 of the same movie but by different people and they all do the same thing. I've downloaded other movies and can watch some of them but I really need to get this working and if anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate them. Just E-mail me of submit it into this forum

I have used Microsoft media player, Vodomi player, and DivXs 'playa'. All to no success. Wouldn't they have to work on the guys computers that I downloaded them off of? They are pretty big files and wouldn't that person not have them if they didn't work?

I have also had trouble trying to find the correct codec for particular movies. I am sure you have a codec problem.

Check out the properties of the file to see what codec it uses.

Maybe thse 10 people are having a lend of you and the file is just useless!
