Hi
I recently reinstalled most of our servers.when they are starting they all show 2 sets of "windows nt 4.0 " options.how do i delete the second set of lines,which obviously is the old installation from showing ?

On the root directory of your boot drive there should be a file called boot.ini (it's hidden).
Open boot.ini with a editor and remove the lines that are not necessary. Be sure to delete the correct lines.
By the way: They do not disturb the correct functioning of your system.
