When a user, and in some case administrator, logs on either with local or roaming profile. It is as if the user is new and NT builds a new profile. This happened in sometime ago and we have had no problems....suddenly it shows its ugly head again. This appears to be specific to one brand of computers. Dell.... Any ideas? I have yet to find a solid work around.

This has something to do with IE. Go to REGEDIT>HKEY_LOCAL MACHINE\SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT\WINDOWSNT\CURRENTVERSION\PROFILELIST and check on the right. Also look HKEY_CURRENT_ USER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\INTERNET CONNECTION WIZARD. 0=LOAD 1=CLEAR, Rightclick Completed then modify to change value. Or use Netscape instead.
