Multiple profiles for one user

At my work place, we have a computer that is running Win NT 4.0 and when one user logs on, they get multiple profiles. For instance, there is one profile named xxxx and another xxxx 000 (xxxx being the user name). Is there any way to fix this.

One thing that will fix this is they need to have the write permission to their profile. Otherwise, NT will create them a new one each time they log in.
