I'm running Windows NT4, SP6a and MS Outlook 2000 SR-1. When new mail arrives, a pop-up window appears nofifying me that new mail has arrived. I went to Tools/Options/E-Mail Options and unchecked the box marked "Display a notification message when new mail arrives." I then shutdown Outlook, restarted it, and made sure the box was still unchecked. It is still unchecked, but I still get those notifications.

I would appreciate any help. Thanks much.
