After removing Microsoft's 823803 security update that incorrectly disabled RAS, I now cannot install the critical cumulative patch for IE 6 (822925) "because of an unknown error. (-2147012889)" Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Every time I start XP Home Edition (SP1), Windows Update tells me I need this. I always agree, it always claims it's downloading it, but then it vanishes... no error message, no update.
