The Mouse will disappear after a few minutes of the machine being on...I can change the driver or the pointer via the keyboard and that will temporarily fix the problem but it is a continuing problem that I can't seem to hack out. Anyone got any ideas?

I had a similar problem..
The mouse was behind one of the units in the kitchen, eating a bit of Edam that must have fallen down the back.
