I would try re-installing mouse driver in NT.

Since the mouse is not working, try this:

1. Press ctrl+esc.
2. Use the up arrow and highlight run & press enter.
3. Type control to open conrol pannel.
4. Using the arrows go to mouse in control pannel and press enter.
5. Using the tab key go to the menu buttons, you may have to hit the tab key 6 times, to get the dotted box to the menu buttons on top.
6. Use the right arrow to get to the devices button. Press enter and again press the tab key twice to get to the change device button and select microsoft serial mouse. 99% chance of making the mouse work will exist.
