I CAN NOT MAKE MY MODEM WORK IN NT 4.0 SERVER I AM DUAL BOOTING BETWEEN 98 AND NT. I HAVE A CONEXANT SOFTK56 PCI MODEM. I THINK I AM NOT SETTING IT UP RIGHT IN NT. WITH OUT TELLING WHAT I HAVE DONE. MAYBE SOME ONE MAY HAVE SOME THOUGHTS ON THIS. I ALSO GET A 1066 ERROR WHILE TRYING TO START THE RAS.

I had a similar problem with my modem. it's a conexant/Rockwell HCF56K Spirit modem. I had to download and install the NT drivers before NT would even recognize that I had a modem. I don't run a dual boot system, but the modem worked fine under 98 and then I installed NT and had the problem.

my gvc 33.6 kbps fax/voice/data modem was working fine in windows 95 but it does'nt work in NT 4. I want to know are there any drivers available for the GVC 33.6 kbps modems for windows NT4. thanks

Hi, I have the same modem and works perfectly using WinNT or W98. However W2K does not support it and I cannot find good drivers!! Help!! Help Help
