When I try to access "Volume control" in Multimedia to change volume (I can't hear any sound from speakers), I got the following message: There are no active mixer device available. You may install or activate mixer device from the control panel. I don't know How to do this.

Your best bet is to correctly identify what sound card you have fitted and search fro NT4 drivers. Get the most up-to-date and then install them to see if that fixes the problem.
You could also take a look in the Driver Forum, look on the left side of the screen. ------ ------
