I am hoping someone can help me. I have a windows nt workstation and when i open my computer, i don't have icons for control panel, printers, scheduled tasks etc. all i have is the drives available and web folders.
Anyone seen this before? And how do i get all the icons to show?

Did they suddenly disappear or have they always been missing? If the latter is true it is probably down to either a piece of software running which is designed to stop users messing with the system setup or Windows Policies are in place which do much the same thing. If you have the administrator's password, logon as that and try loading poledit.exe and see if the are policies inplace and remove them otherwise look for some other program which is loaded automatically at startup.
