Memory read errror on logon

Original Message

Subject: Memory read errror on logon
OS: Win NT4.0 SP6
CPU/Ram: Intel PIII 850MHZ/256Mb
Comment:
After entering my login and password, I get the an error message "__mpnotify.exe- The instruction at "0x77f88a87" referenced memory at "0x00000030". The memory could not be "read".__" Canceling brings about the same message (same instruction and location) only the title is "_nddeagnt.exe-_". Canceling this error brings another error (same instruction, locationl 0x00000054) only the title is "_userinit.exe_". Then I get the WinNT teal screen and my mouse, but nothing else. I can Alt+Ctrl+Del and try a new logon, but I get the same errors regardless of whether I logon is a local user or a logon with network access. This happened after moving the equipment to a new facility and network.
