I was unable to see the external scsi drive so I removed the scsi driver. Now it keeps doing a memory dump. I am also unable to go into VGA mode, same thing. How do I envoke last known hardware profile with NT 4.0. The option is not there, or how do I work around this?

When you boot the PC after selecting the OS from the boot menu press the space bar. This will boot the last known good. Unfortunately it will not reinstall the driver for you, it merely reverts back to the copy of the registry that last booted.
