Thanks Carl for your help, I have got the modem driver to install and the modem is listed in the control panel. I done all the settings for the dial up but when I hit connect nothin happens, it is like the computer still does not recognise the modem as it doesnt even try to dial up. I unistalled the external modem drivers. If I go thru the control panel to search for a modem it only searhes com 1 & com 2 and doesnt pick up the internal modem but when I use the setup.exe from the driver download it displays the modem in the list. Hope this makes sense.
