Hello fellow Computer users! I am new here! I tried searching for this on Google and on computing.net and I need help with something. Our workplace has a Windows 2000 Server and has about 4 other computers which can only run Windows NT Workstation. We require a mail server. It's a pretty small business - What is the best option to do it? Download a custom mail server or use the SMTP that comes with Windows 2000 Server? Thanks.

You really need a mail server or contract the service out to another company. The following company have good write ups and are considerably cheaper than M$ Exchange server software, further using Exchange would be a sledge hammer to a nut.Merak have a small business edition and you can free download and try it for thirty days.

Ahh right thanks for that. I really need to see if there are some good ones locally then. Thanks for the reply I will let you know how I go. :)
