Hi all
I am Using Win NT4 server ond Outlook express. My system crashed and reloaded OS without deleting any files. After reloading I am not able to find my *.dbx files. Is there any way I can retrieve my mails.

Was the nt 4 server acting as an e-mail server it self? Like did you had iis installed with smtp service on it and your e-mail was @your server?

Or was your e-mail at some other server/site?

Chances are, your e-mail was under your profile. If the profile was lost, then your data is gone. If the old profile is still there, then the files are too.

not always, small mail files *.idx *.mbx *.nch may still be there, but if its bigger than perhaps 10mb or so then there is little chance, but as its Oexpress you may be lucky as these files are usually small, speak to these people www.computer-recovery.com, they are good at these things.
