I am trying to create a Mac Volume on NT server 4.0. It seems to want to create it at a size of 2 GB big...I need to figure out how to create the volume and pick the size at 500 MB. Any one know how this is done?

When NT/2000 creates the volume, it
uses all available space up to 2GB. The
warning it gives you only applies if you're
using a MAC OS older than 7.0. If you are,
or if you absolutely want to limit the
amount of space available to the Macs,
you need to create a partition on your NT
server that is 500MB, then create the
volume on that partition. If you're using a
newer OS like 8 or 9, don't worry about the
message; the MAC will be able to use the
volume just fine.
