Lotus 123 is always corrupting my files

We are four partners who works with the same files. Every day, we have to take a backup of these files because they get corrupted at least once a day. We havec Lotus smartsuite millenium. Could someone give me a possible source for these corruptions?

Yep
Switch to Excel.
Lotus has been corrupting files for about a decade now.
