Looking for a Winchat like application

Comment:
Anybody knows some chat application so simple like Winchat.exe (that comes with Windows 2000) that works fine on all Windows versions (95/98/98Se/Me/2K/XP)? I'm looking for a solution like this for a long time, but I didn't find none. I already tried to install a Winchat version that comes as an Accessorie on the first edition of Windows 95 CDROM in my Win95/98 machines, but in some cases this application doesn't work as it should (sometimes it doesn't call, sometimes it doesn't respond). Please, help me if you can, I will be greatly thankful.

Try "Inter-chat Alerter", works for Win9x,NT, and 2000, not sure about ME or XP. Another would be "RealPopup" which supports Win9X,Me,NT,2000, and XP. There are others all available at CNET.com under >Downloads>Windows>Utilities>Network
