Hi - Got a problem with one of our servers - NT4.0 sp6a , it appears that the print spooler failed ( lack of printing was the first sign ) but when the local admin tried to logon he couldn't . I'm guessing because the logon service had failed. The problem was fixed with a reset but I'm worried that its going to happen again. Had a look through event viewer and couldn't find anything that seemed relevant. the server is quite old ( approx 5yrs ) so I'm wondering if its hardware related.
Any ideas ?
cheers
Ed
