logon script not working for user

I have a logon script that runs a vb exe on a common shared drive. For some reason the exe has stopped running for certain users/profiles. Why?

do you have the answer to the first question that should be asked?

When did it change and what was happening around that time?

profile change or rights assignments/share assignments change.
