How do I change the background color at NT logon to black?

- Create a black BMP file, doesn't matter what size it is.
- save it in c:\winnt\system32 folder.
- open Registry editor (regedit.exe)
- go to the following key:

HKEY_USERS\.Default\Control Panel\Desktop

- edit the Wallpaper string, and type the filename of the black bitmap you created above.
- edit the TileWallPaper string, and change it to "1".
- restart the workstation
