When I try and logon to the NT Server as anything but admin, it gives me this message.

"The local policy of this system does not permit you to logon interactively."

I would have thought this was a good situation.

Do you want "USERS" logging in to your server?

Anyway, the solution is to go into User manager, polices, user rights - bring up the Log on Locally right and add in the users you want to be able to login.

If you want to log into a server with a standard username and you are designated as a system administrator you can add the administrator local group and the domain admins global group to your username. This will give 2 benefits. 1. You have Administrator rights all through your network including Workstaions.
2. If several people have the Administrator password and cock something up the logging in not very usefull, but if you have logged in as yourself with the newly assigned admin rights they will who made the mistake.
