I have several NT workstations that I manage within a single domain. I'm having problems with kids renaming desktop icons to something inappropriate. I currently use the policy editor on the PDC to stop registry edits, changes to the display, no lock workstation, etc. However I can't figure out what I need to restrict in order to stop them from renaming the icons. I have tried shell restrictions, specifically, "Don't save changes upon exiting" and still no luck.

Summary: I would say to check the account policy in user mangeler, there is a setting in there that can lock down the desktop and stop them from changing anything. There is also another area that could do this...
