I tried to connect my Laptop (Win NT) to my Intranet with a 10/100 Lan PC Card (3Com).
My Laptop can recognize this Card, but get allways the Message: "The driver is installed, but it is inpossible to start it up.If I try now to start it in the Device-Manager i get the Message: "The SH572B-3ComOC 10/100 Lan PCCard on \\Lap1 couldn't be sartet. Error 0031 A device connected to the System dosn`t function"
What'sn going on?
Is my Laptop out of order, or is it the Card.
Can anybody help me?

Greetings from Munich Germany

Gerhard

Windows NT does not natively support PCMCIA or Cardbus. there are third-party apps that will enable support, but I have the same problem as you and I would like to know if this is fixed in a service pack, as well as USB support.
