keyboard randomly stops working

CPU/Ram: amdxp 3000

No virus, it just stops working at random. Not wireless, ps/2.. if I unplug the keyboard and plug it back in it works.. anyone have an idea?

Are you sure that there isn't an intermittent problem with either the cable or the PS/2 connector?
