Hi,
I installed Windows NT 3.51 on an old ¨computer of mine that used to run Windows 98. It's working pretty well and runs most of my older software that I had on 98, and after a few DLL updates, I even have Firefox 1.5 running smoothly on it.
My problem is that there is something wrong with ¨the keyboard driver because when I'm typing, it'll randomly insert this character: "¨" and some times another symbol that looks like a small upside down v (can't¨ reproduce it on the keyboard.)
Sometimes it inserts many of these symbols in a¨ row. This happens on every keyboard that I've tried, so it is not a faulty keyboar¨d.
And this has nothing to do with the D¨LL updates because it happened the very first time I typed in my password after the clean install.
Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?
Also, how can I make the scroll wheel on the mouse work? I fee¨l kind of crippled without it.
Thanks.

The keyboard controller may be going bad...assuming you're using a PS2 keyboard.
As for the Mouse, if it's an Intellimouse, you can download the drivers from the Web.
Life is more painless for those who are brainless.
