Comment:

Getting message the dynamic link library C:\winnt\system32\mscondfg.dll is not written correctly. The stack pointer has been left in an inconsistent state. The entrypoint should be delcared as WINAPI or STDCALL. Select yes to fail the dll load. Select no to continue execution. Selecting no may cause the application to operate incorrectly. This appears as soon as I log on and when I try to run any apps.

I can't work out what this .dll is for. I have searched all 5 of my NT4 servers and cannot find a copy. I searched with www.google.com and found nothing too.

Usually this type of error occurs when a .dll gets overwritten with an earlier version. Proper install routines prevent this but some applications have sloppy installers and overwrite all sorts of files.

Find the file and bring up its properties to check the version number and other details. It might help you identify what it's used for and the possibility of recovering a newer version.

I've been getting the same problem with every application I open. I tried re-installing SP6a several times. What else could cause this?

I've got a laptop here that has the same problem. Every time an application is opened, the message pops up. Does any one have a solution to this problem?
