I am using IE 5 . Recently i have started getting errors as "Invalid argument" on sites . On hotmail it does not allow me to login and gives error as JAVAScrpit disabled , although i have checked in securities, everything is enabled . Mostly this happens with those sites where i have to sign in ... Please help

Try uninstalling 5 and installing 5.5
Be sure to backup your favorites folder.

and Install Vitual Machine /goto Microsoft site
