I am having a problem at my computer station (a Windows NT 4.0 system). I have been trying to download certain things from the net (update my Adobe Acrobat and Update the Norton Anti-virus) but for some reason it is refusing to let me. It specifically states (for Adobe) "A connection failure has interrupted the download. Check your Network and Internet Settings and then click Retry." And no matter how many times I try, it will refuse. The same thing happens with Norton when I try to update the virus definitions.
I have checked through the settings, but still could not figure it out. I am rather new to the NT format and was unsure if there was something specific that needed to be done to be able to access these downloads.

Try to download Live Update (LUSETUP.EXE) from symantec and install it. Most of the times it will solve the problem. This is most common when you are using a evaluation copy of Norton AntiVirus supplied by ISPs or System Manufacturers etc. The Link for download is: http://symantec.com/techsupp/files/lu/lu.html
Secondly check your browser settings. Are you behind a firewall? if yes, it may be blocking Live Update.
