Hi everybody: Congratulations for this site and thank you for your help.
Here is my problem:
PC-A=Windows Me/AOL installed ok/Login validated onto a NT server using Client for Microsoft Networks/IE 5.0/Internet Connection Sharing/Configured with an IP address (not using DHCP)
PC-B=NT Server/IE 5.0/Configured with an IP address (not using DHCP)
So far: login in WME works fine, both machines shares everything (printer, files)
The problem: trying to connect the PC-B (NT) to the internet, it doesn't neither start Internet connection in PC-A (with ICS) or even connect to the internet while PC-A is connected?
Any clue where is the problem?
Thank you in advance.
Bonus question: what does 'detect connection to network media' mean?

Don't congratulate us too soon. Sometimes it looks like we're solving problems when we're really just faking it.
I'm not clear as to the hardware that links your network together. You're using TCP/IP, but you don't mention a hub. Are you trying to share an internet connection using strictly a software solution, or do you have a router in the network somewhere.
If you're depending strictly on a software solution, this link might be relevant:
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q234/8/15.ASP
Specifically, read about:
"TCP/IP Must Be Bound to All Adapters Connecting ICS Host to LAN"
Since I have not used ICS myself, I can only recommend that you might get better advice from the Windows ME forum. Other than that, I'd better shut up.
