I have motorola sm56 pci modem. I have installed the driver properly but still i am not able to get connected on net. i have a satyam connection and whenever i try to connect, the modem dials the number and the sound of proper connection also comes but soon some disturbance comes and the line is disconnected. When I try to connect on fax line with Supervoice, supervoice is not able to initialise and gives a error that could not find dial tone and closes down. while using fax talk communicator and bitware also it dials the number and a ring goes but no communication is recieved. Is there a problem in the modem or the speed of the modem is not properly set. please advise
