Installing WinXP over 2000

Personally, I would stay with 2kPro, especially with a PII. XP is a power hog!
I have another machine with XP and it really doesn't give anything new, with the exception of a lot of services to bog you down.

... and more mouse clicks (do MS have shares in mouse manufacturers?), and well-hidden setup menus, more services running, etc.
Unless you have driver problems, e.g. unable to get device drivers for W2K, or problems with some games, stick with W2K. especially if you've got a stable setup.

I personally prefer Win2k. On the other hand XP is much easier to follow, e.g. Networking.

Summary: ok, I have 6 win xp boot disk. im trying to install XP over NT. when i reboot with the disk...it goes all the way to the #6 disk. then it says that CD-ROM is not found. I have an external CD-ROM drive...
