Installing WINDOWS NT4.0 error

I installed a WINDOWS NT4.0 system from CD. After configuring Hard disk (Quantum Fireball 17.3 Gb) primary partition (4GB), then format this partition, begin copy system files, a message apear: "shell.dll is not a windows NT valid image, skip, retry ?". I used another WINDOWS NT4.0 system CD but the same message apear. Many thanks

I can't understand your problem, because In first line you have written that you have installed NT and try to configure 17GB HDD. Please email me with actual problem. 1. Have you installed NT ? 2. Or You trying to Install NT on 17GB HDD with 4GB Partition.
i installed win nt 4 on the system but unable to install modem or network card. the system does not recognizes these cards' how to install

Do you have any idea what cards you have? If not, you have 3 choice: check the manual, check the manufacturer site, check the cards in the machine. After that, download drivers for those card and install them.
