I have been having problems installing windows NT Server 4.0 on my computer. I need to install it on an older HP with a 1.0Ghz Pentium 3, 512MB of RAM and a 500gb hard drive. Everything seems to work fine. I boot the computer from the CD, I create a new 1gb partition and then windows formats it using NTFS. Then it continues the install and the computer restarts. Then I get an "Error loading operating system" message and all I can do is restart and get the same message over. I know the hard drive works cause I had XP installed previously. I am wonering if anybody can help me with this!!!

You should start by removing that partition and making it larger. 1 GIG for a server partition isn't that large. And, Windows isn't formatting the drive during setup, because you're not in Windows.

We’re not all the same
