I disagree, allthough it is a little easier to set up, the jetadmin software slows your login and pops up with annoying banners. I recommend printing to the printer directly to the IP address. If you can ping your printer your 90 percent there. Start, settings, printers, add printer, select "my computer", add a port, (select LPR port) , in the name or address of the printer enter the printers IP address and in lower box just name the printer anything you want. You will need to have Microsoft TCP/IP printing added as a network service in your control panel. There is more info in the help index from explorer. Happy printing!

slows login and banners? how are you using it? you run it on the server, it sets up a printer, you share it out. maybe it's different with a peer-to-peer deal?

We use C/S and peer to peer. I have had much better results printing directly to the printers through LPR for a couple of reasons, I have a couple of P to P groups wich only need the entire network ocasionally so if their is no server or the server is down from crash or maintenance there is no printing! also it has reduced the network traffic and server resource requirements substantially.
