install NT on secondary slave drive?

Is there any way to install NT on my secondary slave drive"D:" and have a dual boot? I think my only option is to set the jumpers on the slave drive to "single drive" and then disconnect the master drive, then install NT. Then, revert back to the way the drives were. The NT drive will become D: and Master will be C: again. If I want to use the NT drive D: I would go into BIOS and change the boot sequence from A,C,SCSI to D,A,SCSI. Does this sound like the way to go? I do have Boot Magic. Could I use Boot Magic instead of going into the BIOS and changing the boot sequence?
