Comment:
i am trying to install a NT 4.0 workstation on my HP omnibook 500, it has a 10G harddisk, PIII 750 and 512 mb memory
i have partition the disk to 1.5gigabyte for NT installation
when i did the normal installation from the the bootable CD-ROM, I got a "interal data setup structure are corrupted(phase 0)" error, and the setup failed to continue.
then i tried to copy the content under the i386 folder on the setup disk to the hadrdrive, and tried to install from the hard disk, after the reboot, i got a error of " setup cannot found the setup file prepared by ms-dos", and setup failed.

Sounds like you need the NT HP drivers for your laptop, especially a disk controller driver. I would suggest going to HP's web site and see what you can find. During the detection phase hit f6 to add the disk controller driver.
