Comment:

I have this SMC print server on my LAN with 3 printers attached. Let's say the print server IP is 1.2.3.4 & the printer shared name is "printer1"

So far I've been able to install a network printer manually from any clients (98,2000,NT,XP) by using "Add printer wizard" & connect it to \\1.2.3.4\printer1

But i don't have time to add printer for 100 users. I tried to use NETLOGON batch file & map a printer with this script line:
net use LPT1: \\1.2.3.4\printer1
& the batch complete succesfully everytime i login, but the printer is never there.

Can anyone help me to automate add printer connection everytime clients login? Or is there anybody outthere have a sample of "working" batch file to connect network/shared printers?

rgds,
NaSsaR
