I have a western digital IDE hardeive 13.4 gigs. I keep getting an inaccessible_boot_device error regardless of how I format or install. I get is with or without EZ-Bios. I am at the end of my rope. please help. this is the stop error. 0x0000007b(0xf9013bd4,0x0000000,0x0000000)

If you are installing NT4 you have to stay under 8.4 gigs for the boot partition.

Actually according to Microsoft its 4GB max for NTFS boot partition...I don't know about FAT limits though. Were you actually able to install? Have you checked your boot.ini file to make sure it is pointing to the correct drive?

For you boot hard drive stay under 8.4 gigs and it will work fine.You will have to use your 13 gig drive as a secondary drive.Your 13 gig drive will not boot even when you do 2 gigs fat or 4 gigs NTFS. Is the a SCSI or IDE drive

Inaccessible_boot_device is that the hard drive have some defective sectors. I think you should replace hard drive.
