Impossible to Logon

When the control-alt-del window appear, the system "freeze" and i can't logon (Keyboard don't respond). It there anything that I can do, without reinstall the O.S.? I don't have the repair disk. The machine is a DELL's notebook.

Choose vga mode [safe mode] which is the 2nd entry in the boot.ini. See what happens then. You don't have to reinstall. Just start the install process from the nt cd and choose repair. Reapply your service pack when complete and make a ERD before and after the sp update.
Summary: I would like to be able to logon to an NT domain after first having started windows and establishing a dialup connection. I have tried using the 'net logon' command in win98 but recieve an error mess...
Summary: I am expecting to be able to logon as "test" from any of the client machines. Question...does the NT server have to be a PDC in order to accomplish this? Or can it be done with it simply being a stand...
