I had to move my server machine to another floor. After it was moved I updated it with the new IP address and default gateway. Nothing else in the software was changed. I can ping the new IP address, but I cannot connect to any URL. I always get page not found error message. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Is the default gateway a router? can you ping the address for the default gateway?

You updated the actual computer with the new IP and gateway but you have to go into the properties page for the website and change the IP address there otherwise it is still pointing to the old address.
