Comment:

Some of our machines have IE 5.5 and when they run the program it always run's the runonce command to register which country and then you get you do not have admin rights message you do not have access to run this program.

In fact you can run IE5.5 after these message

We have prevented writting to registry for obvious reason!

Is there a way of preventing these messages.

A few ways to bypass this...go and change your homepage to about:blank....this usually works...and also go under advanced and take off the auto check for updates...
this should stop it from doing that..another way is let a machine goto this site...then startup the machines that want to goto this site...here is the clever part...on the machine that went to the site copy everything from the temp folder and then copy it into theses machines...then when it errors out...click on the file "work offline" then click refresh ...and it should think it went there and write the stuff in the regisrty." don't forget to save it to a cd so that you can do it to multiple pc's.

Is the M$ workaround for computers that cannot have web access.
