IDE CD-ROM Drive on NT 3.1

I am using NT 3.1 just for kicks, but can't get an IDE CD-ROM drive to work, does anybody know how to get it to work?

Is it hardware or software that's giving you trouble.
Try to boot with an W95/98 bootfloppy with cdrom access to check if it's a soft- or hardware problemo ( if this will run on your 3.1 system )

its a software problem, can't find an ide driver or a place to install an cd ide drive in Win NT 3.1
